No luck for Germany’s Moto3 pilot Toni Finsterbusch at the 10th race of the Moto3 World Championship in Brno, Czech Republic: In the second part of the race, the 20-year-old from Saxony became involved in a crash, through no fault of his own. Eventually he had to make do with taking a 25th-place finish and thus sold himself short. “Right ahead of me two pilots crashed and I lost control of the handlebars. It cost me a lot of time,” explained Finsterbusch. “It’s really annoying because I could well have earned points today.”
Current World Championship leader Luis Salom of Spain won the race in Brno ahead of his compatriot Maverick Vinales (both KTM). Germany’s Jonas Folger (Kalex KTM) took the third podium finish. Already on Sunday (September 1), the next race will be carried out in Silverstone, Great Britain.
